Yes, but that's not the point, it's not a matter of the surface. It just get stuck and doesn't work anymore for xx minutes before restarting again without any apparent reason (all on the same surface)

Back on this topic. Are there any chances I could manage to install the switchable card with these procedure? It doesn't look too easy to me, and it's referring to fedora and other catalyst driver, so before wasting half a day maybe somebody will stop me :) http://forum.notebookreview.com/acer/56257...

The mouse start randomly working, but when it happens I can still use the touchpad. I tried with 2 different mice and different USB plugs, so I guess it has to be something with Linux. Any idea?

I got it to work! After the last fix it's working but only bith the function keys, not from the terminal! That's good enough!

I tried to deselect "dim when idle" but with no effect
