Re: Linux Mint 8 Helena RC1 released!

Therefor there are lots of ways available to change to any other wallpaper. It's much more important that t...

Mint 8 looks great, also the default background. The software installer is very good. Everything works right out of the box. Just wondering when the KDE version will surface

Re: Linux Mint 7 'Gloria' KDE released!
Great! Now, how do I install it? When I go into Synaptic and search for "Mint 7", all that's returned is the "main" updater, which I presume is for the main fork, i.e. GNOME. If I search for "Mint 7 KDE", I get no results. So, should I go ahead and use the main updater...

Re: Linux Mint 7 RC1 released!
Great work. I have a new DELL E6500 and it works great. The whole boot just takes 45 seconds. There are some little issues with the mousepad but that is minor. And I have some Logitech USB speakers where I have trouble with to get them to work. Mint is recognizing them but thats it. I would love to ...

Re: Targus Docking Station
It's a MSI laptop with an AMD CPU. Might be the AMD is the issue since I have read that laptops with AMD often have problems with sound and that fits with my laptop too. On all distributions what I have tried so far, the volume of the speakers is pretty low. Where GNOME are always a bit better than ...
