So is there any way that anyone knows of to force all windows in Cinnamon to have the "system title bar"? Some things have it, some do not, and some simply don't give the option (like by right-clicking) and the inconsistency is kind of a nightmare. Any way to just force all windows to have...

That isn't the problem. mintUpdate running on startup is fine by me.

The problem is while it's installing updates. It pops up messageboxes that steal focus. There needs to be a way for it to not do that.
