I used Gdebi Package installer and it seems to be stalled you said there would be an http error and I have not seen that yet so I don't know what to do.
this is my last line in the install window

You might try Google Earth 6.2 that can be found at http://packages.linuxmint.com/list.php?release=Nadia. Install it with gdebi package installer. When run it gives an HTTP error. You have to go to /opt/google/earth/free, find the libcurl4.so file and rename it to something like backup_libcurl4.so....

google earth squares

using the lenovo at the bottom with cinnamon My google earth is putting up a web of multicolored squares . i have reinstalled 3 times and it is still doing it ... it seems to over load my computer and slows it down so it must be stacking stuff on stuff.. Anyone know about this or is it just my compu...

icons on the left of each subject[SOLVED]

IN the different topics are subjects that are answered. there are icons over to the left of the subjects with different meanings i am supposing. some of them are different colors some are animated and things like that . Can somoene tell me or lead me to where the meanings are ???

Printer sleeps too much

i'm using the Lenovo at the bottom here with linux mint cinnamon My printer ( HP OFFICEJET PRO 8600) has 3 settings (on the hardware settings) for length of time before it sleeps the longest setting is 15 minutes ..... is it harmful to keep it awake longer and is there a way in the software to make ...

someone did ask me if i tried to install a windows driver for my linksys adapter.

I said no but i remember I did try instaling a windows driver with wine . I forgot that.

Your drivers seem to be the right ones compared to other info I have found even with people who had the same device working. Power management on wireless devices can cause problems. Where in that file do i find drivers I dont' see anything that mentions linksys. The only other thing I can think of ...

trying to use ndiswrapper

I'm using the lenovo noted at the bottom here trying to get a linksys AE2500 network adapter. I have had major troubles trying to get this adapter to work with linux. The one adapter I do have working is an OLD linksys wireless G adapter . I am at the moment trying to get the latest NDISWRAPPER work...
