trying to use ndiswrapper

I'm using the lenovo noted at the bottom here trying to get a linksys AE2500 network adapter. I have had major troubles trying to get this adapter to work with linux. The one adapter I do have working is an OLD linksys wireless G adapter . I am at the moment trying to get the latest NDISWRAPPER work...

Have you tried other USB ports with the wireless adapter? Yes i have tried 4 usb ports Power management might be messing it up also, try What is the connection to the power management so your saying that my adapter should work now ? Jeremy: I have had only LM16 and 17 on the laptop both mate and cinnamon it also is the only computer i have with windows (win7) It does not use the linksys AE2500 either . Ok I have gottten on line with my old network adapter again. and I'm on with the new kernel I did not do that last command you sent me .... but nothing is fixed . Jeremy: When the update manager is running click View/Linux kernels and it should show a list of available kernels, install version 3.13.0-32 Since I installed the kernel I have not been able to make a network connection at all and change the last line from REGDOMAIN=00 to REGDOMAIN=US capital lette...

I sent the file by pasting in that PM and it came bacck same message when i tried to submit it ..... too few charactars...... no idea why .

I don't get this ..... after pasting that file in the reply window i get the message "message has too few charactars"

You could open your home folder double click on the wireless-info.tar.gz and then double click on the file that shows from the archive manager window, then copy the file and paste it here are you saying that what i pasted is not enough/ or not the right stuff ? ??????
