linux auto logs in but does not prompt for password...
when i need elevated (root) provaliges linux does not prompt for password and i canot do anything i need to do without using terminal i have set kde to auto login to linux, this works but i need to be able to install etc and that requires a password which is not prompted! any ideas how i can fix this, hopefully without undoing my auto login part.

SOLVED!
all i had to do was install the following
sudo apt-get install polkit-kde-1
and then restart using terminal
sudo poweroff
all i had to do was install the following
sudo apt-get install polkit-kde-1
and then restart using terminal
sudo poweroff
