Ugrade from Daryna Beta to Final Version

Postby Guest on Tue Mar 11, 2008 11:20 am

The final version of Daryna is out. Is it necessary to upgrade the beta version into a final version, to upgrade (automatically from the repositories?) or would be a fresh installation necessary? :?:

If you have beta 44 keep it.
Boo writes in the release notes that the difference between 044 and final does not make it worthwile upgrading

There are differences, but if your present B044 works for you keep it and maybe change with Elyssa or version 6

That's good to know, because my beta44 is working like a charm for me. I guess I won't bother to go gold.

In fact, I like this version of Mint the best so far. :D

Right you are - there are fixes in the final version for those where the beta did not work so well, something with language support and a few other items
