I just wanted to say that I've installed Mint 12 KDE with absolute success.

Much improved since the last time I used it several years ago, and no a single issue with the installation.

Coming from a glitchy and poor Gnome experience the last couple years, I must say you've rekindled my hope in the desktop Linux environment.
