kde but gnome buttons, looks ugly

hi guys, i installed mint on my laptop ove it and thinking of installing it on my desktop(currently running ubuntu)
but, when for ex running mintUpdate, i get those ugly gnome buttons., also some other apps do this aswell
is there any way around it?

menu-->system settings-->appearance & themes-->GTK styles and fonts
GTK styles: radio button "Use my KDE style in GTK applications"
apply, close
