I can get my wireless usb adapter to work with Mint KDE which is all up to date. When I go into manage connections the 'Wireless' tab is greyed out.
The adapter came with an install.sh file on a disc that was supposed to make it easy to automatically install the driver. I opened this file in kate, and then when into Tools and selected 'Pipe to Terminal' to run the script automatically as I'm a newb and the terminal is pretty much uncharted territory for me. This didn't work as the terminal showed the expected 'echo "The Setup Script is completed !" as it should but it followed that up with 'bash: !":event not found' which certainly wasn't part of the original text file.
Any ideas how I can get this adapter to work?
