There is a problem with your sources.list. It looks like some of the Ubuntu repositories have been marked with the "maya" (Linux Mint's release), while that should be "precise" (Ubuntu's release name). This sometimes happens when upgrading in-place, and not doing a clean install. It can be easily fixed by editing your sources.list and replacing "maya" with "precise" on all lines that have ubuntu or medibuntu in the URL.

I had the same problem after downloading the RC ISO a day or 2 after release. After following the suggestion above, I now experience no misses in apt-get update. I assume the sources.list has been corrected by now, as nobody else seems to have this problem.
