Update problems? SOLVED

The update manager came up with some updates but it won't install them! It opens as usual & when asked to install them, it says about 'files included.....' but the window vanishes when I click OK on that.

Try to do the upgrade this once from the terminal. Perhaps that can push them through, or at least show you any additional errors.

Many thanks! Due to a power blip, however, I had to reinstall & the update manager now seems to work properly anyway.
