I just performmed a clean installation of Mint 13 KDE on VMWare Workstation 9.0... I tried setting a system-wide proxy from the menu->Proxy option, but I don't think that it's worked... When I run the following commands:

sudo apt-get update
It's unable to connect to the servers to make the update... Any help would be appreciated... I've run older versions of Mint with MATE on Workstation 8.0 with no problems before...
