Digikam Update - any repo?

Digikam is currently at version 2.9, which is the last release before 3.0 starts to roll. Mint 13 stopped at 2.5, which has some annoying bugs.

Any trustable repo is updating Digikam to use with Mint KDE 13?

Usually recommended to get this PPA: https://launchpad.net/~philip5/+archive/extra. Currently has 2.8 for Linux Mint 13. It updates some other applications to newer versions also (like GIMP to 2.8).
