Hey all,
I'm running Darnya KDE on a laptop (hence the post here). The default vertical-scroll area on my touchpad is so large that I accidentally scroll through the taskbar when I mean to mouse up. I have tried installing g- q- and k-synaptics to fix it. Only k-synaptics seems to have the ability to resize the scrolling area, but after a reboot, it resets to the default configuration. This is a known bug in k-synaptics. I've tried the workaround in comment 10 and comment 11, but no dice.
Has anyone successfully fixed this, or does anyone read code well enough to see what's missing from the proposed workaround?
(If it's bad form for me to have posted both here and at launchpad, please let me know, and I'll delete this post).
Thanks as always,
Anthony
