xdg-utils kde equivalent? (just wondering) solved

Postby Tony G on Sat Apr 12, 2008 1:30 am

I was trying to figure out why "Browse C:\ Drive" in Wine wouldn't launch anything for me. After seeing that the launcher command was "xdg-open ~/.wine/drive_c", I checked to see whether I had xdg-utils installed, which I didn't. (Installing xdg-utils fixed the issue).

I was just wondering, is there a KDE equivalent to xdg-utils?

According to Ubuntu
xdg-utils contains utilities for integrating applications with the desktop environment, regardless of which desktop environment is used. They are part of freedesktop.org's Portland project.
