Cleaning up Kmail

Postby LindseyD. on Tue Oct 23, 2012 8:42 am

I've googled around, but either I'm using the wrong search terms or no one else has this problem :roll:

After importing my old emails into Kmail2, I've got a folder tree that's like this:
Local Folders
-> Kmail-Import
--> mail (my old mail)
---> sub-folder
---> sub-folder
---> sub-folder, etc (These are my old mail sunfolders)
--> duplicate sub-folder
--> duplicate sub-folder
--> duplicate sub-folder (etc)

The duplicate sub-folders showed up after I tried moving some sub-folders into Local Folders.

It would be nice to get rid of the Kmail-Import folder (keeping the mails, of course) and preferably the mail folder--i.e., just have one list of folders. But I have no idea how. Nor what Local Folders means. I have only one POP account. All my mail is stored locally--on my one and only computer.

Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.
