Has anyone else had problems with Opera 12 in Mint 14 KDE?
I have been using Opera ever since Mint10 and haven't had any issues (that I can recall) with any versions or any of the Mint Os's but I am now.
I can pull pages but graphics are all messed up on most pages and it often displays the page as a singe graphics-less column along the left 1/3 to 1/2 of the browswer window.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

I have been having a very similar problem since the upgrade to Opera 12.14. I have been forced to remove Opera 12 and download and install Opera 11 which works okay. Periodically I try Opera 12 again but so far the problem has not been fixed.

P.S. If you use this solution you have to be careful to avoid update manager automatically applying the update to Opera 12.

I'll try backing to Opera 11 but here is an error message for someone who deciphers error messages well:

12.14 is working fine for me. I've been browsing for about 30 minutes now..

I've completely uninstalled Opera now 3 different times and reinstalled 11 and 3 different versions of 12 and still getting the same errors listed above.

Help please....

I just unistalled Opera & renamed the old default folder then reinstalled and am up and running.

I'm using mint 13 KDE, so this may not be relevant. But I figured I'd try opera again (I tried it under windows 7 for a while). Synaptic stated that installing it involved removing mint-meta-kde.
