Tasty in Mint? (low content)

Postby Tony G on Tue Jun 03, 2008 3:04 am

Just out of curiousity, does anyone know how it is that the Tasty Menu in Mint KCE avoids suffering from the bug that the Tasty menu suffers from in some other distros (flickering)? (I'm not asking for the secret sauce recipe; just curious.)

Best,

The flicker is not noted in the change-logs, though it's complained about in some comments at KDE-Look.org. Although there's no official word about the flicker, given that the complaints come from users of Mandriva and PCLOS, I'd guess it's a Mandriva incompatibility.
