[SOLVED] Size & Orientation Settings in Mint 15 KDE missing

Postby mrmarbury on Wed Aug 28, 2013 11:26 am

Hi,

I've been installing Mint 15 with Cinnamon on my Lenovo T430 with Intel Graphics. In Cinnamon the dual screen setup worked great but since Cinnamon was too unstable for me I did a "aptitude install kde-full" After it was done I started into KDE.
Here my desktops are just cloned with a max resolution of 1024x768. And I am missind the "Size & Orientation" Settings in die Hardware->Display and Monitor section of KDE Settings.

On all KDE installations (even kde 4.10.5 on FreeBSD) this menu was available even without the computer being able to handle multi monitors. Do I have to install another package for this or is this a bug?

Cheers,
Stefan

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

I know this is "solved" and a KDE thread, but ...

Does anyone know the answer to this for Mint-15 Cinnamon?

Thanks in advance,
