Dolphin automatic music play

Postby lowskilla on Sat Mar 07, 2009 5:32 pm

Hi,

is there some way to enable automatic music play in Dolphin? In Gnome you just have to touch a music file and you can listen to it without opening music players.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

right-click on the file --> open with --> choose the app from the menu and tell it to remember the file association.
I hope that works.

Thanks for the answer, but this didn't work. I tried it with all music players I have, but this didn't work. Google also has no answer for me, so I think this feature is not implemented (yet). I hope KDE Developers will implement this soon, I really like this feature in Nautilus.

If theres any workaround to get my "touch-file-and-play-music" functionality, please post it :)
