(SOLVED) Olympus CAMEDIA D 565 or a card reader

Postby LinuxForever on Thu Mar 12, 2009 2:37 pm

Does anyone know for sure if an Olympus CAMEDIA D 565 Zoom 4.0 Megapixel digital camera will work with gPhoto or DigiKam or any other program in Linux? I looked at the list of compatible cameras in gPhoto and DigiKam but the D 565 isn't on the list.
Thankx for any help.

PS. I was wondering if Linux can't read from the camera could I use a USB 2.0 card reader instead?

I'm glad to hear that Boo because one person told me he has a problem reading XD cards with his laptop. I think I'll buy the Olympus. Thankx for your help.
