Linux Mint 8 KDE in USB help...

Hi i want to know if exit a program USB installer for Linux Mint 8 KDE, 'couse i have a notebook, and not have for CD just USB ports, i was looking for a pendrive installation 'couse i did it with others mint versions...i find some programs but no one have for LM8 KDE i want ask if some know one...i mean like USB LIVE CREATOR... those tipe of programs to make pindrives to install OS or run it from it...

I had success installing MInt 8 KDE via USB using UNetbootin.

Hey but i can't start it, i mean its bootable but when i try to start from ones of the option no ones works:

UNETBOOTIN
-default
-start linux mint 8 KDE
-start linux mint 8 KDE(OEM...)
-star linux mint8 KDE......blah blah

...can u help me please, what can i do, maybe i choose bad options in the unetbootin whe i installed =( :
distribution: linux mint.........version: 6-live (not have 8!! so i put that one)
disk: image iso (LM8KDE)
tipe: USB
unit: my USB......

...please help...

When you say that none of the options work, what happens? If I remember correctly, I've always used the second option on your list. Does nothing happen? Or does it try to boot to Linux Mint but fails somewhere?

Did you verify the MD5 checksum of the ISO before your used UNetbootin? Given that the USB drive boots and presents you with the menu makes me think that you used the correct options for UNetbootin.

Also, how much RAM is on this notebook computer?
