Gstreamer not opening video, anyone?

Hi guys.

Installed min 10 kde RC, and it seems fine minus some bugs that I can live with.
I do encounter a problem related to Gstreamer.

I use Subtitle Composer and if the settings are on Gstreamer, no video file is opened and I get the error:
There was an error opening file

If I change the settings for video backend to either Xine or mplayer or Phonon then it's working.

How can I check the gstreamer backend?
