I'm painfully switching to Mint 10 KDE and now I see that my CPU is all the time at 100%:
- Code: Select all
PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
2418 me 20 0 589m 16m 14m S 77 0.6 111:48.51 kded4
5262 me 20 0 589m 22m 14m S 50 0.8 80:05.67 kded4
3532 root 20 0 653m 23m 14m S 49 0.8 112:09.77 kded4
Is this normal for a my cpu :
- Code: Select all
$ cat /proc/cpuinfo
processor : 0
vendor_id : GenuineIntel
cpu family : 6
model : 15
model name : Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6400 @ 2.13GHz
stepping : 2
cpu MHz : 2126.223
cache size : 2048 KB
EDIT: it looks like it's ok after restarting the system ...
cheers,
Tex
