Clunky??

Tried Mint 10 kde........ OK getting there...... but still a little clunky. Not as refined as Gnome and certainly nothing like 3.5 which I believe was their best. Look forward to the next edition. Almost there!!

I believe it is clunky. Went back to KDE 9, installed the updates and works like a dream.

Break down what your issues are and maybe some one here might be able to help, or we can get this listed and worked on for Kataya 11.

DE choice is near to a religious decision, and I, as you can tell, think your wrong...even with KDE4.x, your wrong. End.

I've seen substantial improvement in KDE4.6.1 to the point its very close to the 3.5.10 line...very close... 2 years too late... but close... I am almost to the point of committing to it... a few more weeks of testing and we will see. But I am still keeping my eye on the 3.5.12 branch ala Trinity.

KDE 4.6.2 should be released Tuesday (4-5) or Wednesday to the repos..

One of the bug fixes is the panel auto-hide..

What other issues are you experiencing??

To be honest, must of the problems I had were fixed after I reinstalled the final Mint version (not the RC) and updated to 4.6.2. After that I don't find MInt 10 KDE clunky at all.
