Mint KDE design suggestion

Postby Kadano who forgot his password^^ on Mon Dec 10, 2007 7:44 am

Hello, I want to ask if this design could becomne the standard Mint KDE design:
http://kde-look.org/CONTENT/content-pre3/54701-3.png
I can change the themes and colors from blue to green so it looks greener. I think that's the best design I've ever seen, and as I said as soon as the Daryna KDE version is out, I can (if you want me to) make a self-installing package that makes the design look like that.
Kore is made by code2, that's the link to his work:

Hello

I highly second that!
Kore is the best look I ve seen yet! If you decide not to do it, consider offering it as an alternative theme. And if you fix code 2s kore theme for kbfx (which is fairly easy to do), you have a really nice looking desktopè!

The gloss on the app buttons is really lame. Being a straight line like that just dissects the button and makes it look daft.

T you can't configure domino0.4 other than with this stzraight line. Do you know a better style for KDE than domino, that's quite easy to configure? I couldn't find anything.
Why do you think it doesn't look professional? The icon theme isn't made yet, what you see at the screenshot are just the first icon ideas by code2. Themes like Crystal Project (by Everaldo) or Dark Glass by mentalrey fit it very well.

Yeah, Im not a fan of dark themes either. Sorry.

But it doesn't stop lots of different themes from being included.

I don't like it. It looks like half mac because of the bar up the top. And it looks like half gnome because of the task bar at the bottom. No thanks.

Cheers,
