KDE 4.8 Upgrade - Power Management Setting Don't Apply

Hi,

Running LinuxMint 12 KDE 64Bit and I upgraded to KDE 4.8.

My only problem is that screen saver and monitor power setting don't work anymore.
My LCD screen keeps turning off after a short period of time.

How would I fix this?(I don't want the screen to turn off ever)

I tried changing setting in:
START/Settings/System Settings/Display And Monitor
START/Settings/System Settings/Power Management

Again, I upgraded to KDE 4.8 and I want to stop LCD monitor from turning off.
