Now have installed Ubuntu 10.04.4 and get easily bluetooth a2dp working via pairing the headset and then just choosing them as playback device, but not happy with gnome and latest kubuntu 12.04beta2 haves wpa & standby problems so decided to give this one a go and no complains this far in LIVE session.
But I would like to be somewhat certain about this before wiping drive again: is a2dp possible in Mint / KDE as somelike in gnome and if so, then what I am missing ? How to get sound via bluetooth ?
edit: I upgraded KDE to 4.8 (dist-upgrade) and now it doesnt even pair! Tried to manipulate configs too but after several reboots im out of ideas
Btw is it normal that when Im tethering (from Nokia N8) I have to separately choose to use mobile networking before connecting ? In kubuntu or ubuntu I dont have to do that.
