Hello. Pretty often when i'm logging out i get a blank screen, as if the monitor isn't working. Rebooting helps. Till next log out. It happens not every log out, but many times. Specially after long time of being logged in.
How can i solve this problem?
p.s. Can it be an xfce compositor issue?

XFCE is in some respects similar to gnome
In gnome you get this kind of problem sometimes if you have ccsm installed (ccsm is compiz settings manager)
KDE does not have the problem

I don't use compiz - i don't like it. So removing all the compiz packages that i see in synaptic will solve the issue?

Most likely and make sure you have the latest mint updates according to Merlviz' list.
