Monitor dims after 2 minutes

Hi

I have a samsung nc-10 with mint xfce installed and for some reason the screen gets very dim after about 2 minutes even while I'm using it.
I went into the control panel to adjust my settings there and the screen is set to never dim.

Is there another place where I can adjust the screen settings, a file perhaps?
