You can always use the RC from http://blog.linuxmint.com/?p=2516 and just do the updates.

Correct. As a matter of fact, if you want the 'bleeding-edge' software and the crashes which occur when you use Alpha and Beta software, you could download the new version when it goes Alpha and simply keep up normal updates until you change versions with no more than the usual problems that you should be reporting to the developers as you find them. :lol:

thats cool i will stick with updates and wait for a new LTS version fingers crossed 8 months or so
