XFCE and text entry boxes

Hi...I have XFCE installed and I want to change the color of the box where you input text. For example, when I open Openoffice, the background is gray, but I would like it to be white. Likewise, the address bar in Firefox is gray, as well as the search box. I want them all to be white.

Where is the appropriate file I should edit, and what syntax do I use? Thanks in advance.

It's not gray for me
In office the application itself is gray, but not the background where you type
Could be a theme you've chosen
