Blank CD problem

Postby Naiki on Mon Oct 06, 2008 4:58 pm

Well, its not much of a problem, more an observation. I havent done any odd tweaks beyond getting my ATI card working, so this is a pretty fresh install. Anywhos, if i have a blank cd in the cd drive when i turn my PC, Mint XFCE wont boot. It goes past grub to the mint splash screen with the green bar moving side to side. It doesnt stop moving side to side, just kinda keeps going and never boots beyond that.

Not realy a problem, i just dont boot with a blank cd in the drive. Just thought it was an odd thing to happen though you know?

Do XFCE edition bugs go here or somewhere else?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

I don't think this is a bug (well, it is :)) as this happens to a lot of systems including Windows
