Does Linux Mint XFCE has DRI?

Postby shengchieh on Tue Aug 04, 2009 1:31 pm

Before I give Linux Mint XFCE a spin, I would like know one thing. Does the latest Linux Mint XFCE has DRI (direct rendering infrastructure)?
I.e., when you do lsmod, do you have modules, dri and glx. And when you type glxgears, a 3 spinning wheels graph pops up.

p.s I'll ask same thing in Linux Mint fluxbox.

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

I was under the impression that DRI is built into all modern kernels. e.g. lsmod on my Gloria reveals neither "dri" nor "glx" modules, but glxgears runs fine.
