Is there a way to get a volume control icon in the top panel?
All I've been able to get is a mixer icon.
I'm running xfce4 in Mint 12

No volume control icon in panel (SOLVED)

volume control works different in XFCE
you don't click Icon you hover mouse on Icon and use mouse scroller or keyboard up/down keys (icon change to replect level)
OR
In mixer make cotrol visable (usally 'master') and can drag that to desired level from now on
