It looks pretty slick. The only complaint I have is the mint start menu Icon. It just doesn't look good. maybe making the background blend in better might help.

how big is this once installed ? when can we expect beta 1 ? i have an EEEPC that really needs to get this action

Looks very nice....can you give us any idea as to when the beta will be available for download? "Real soon" or "any day now" doesn't tell us much.....
