Internet problem

Postby ippokratis on Sat Mar 15, 2008 5:56 am

Hello guys! I have installed Linux Mint 4.0 Fluxbox on my HD in dual boot with Win XP. I have 2 PCs the one is connected to internet by a router (NETGEAR DG834PN) with ethernet (but is wireless to). The other PC's XP partition gets internet access by a Wireless USB Adapter NETGEAR (WPN111 - goes in set with the router). When I enter my LM partition I get no internet access. What shall I do?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Try the wiki
http://www.linuxmint.com/wiki/index.php/MintWifi
It seems that this dongle works with ndiswrapper

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it

Well, I solved the problem by buying an ethernet card, which is connected now to my PC. So I established internet access.
