I discovered that fbpager is already installed. For anyone wanting to use it this is what you need to do ...
* cp /usr/share/doc/fbpager/examples/rc.default ~/.fluxbox/fbpager
* Add fbpager & to ~/.fluxbox/startup (or fbpager -w & if you want the pager to start in the slit)
That's it! fbpager will start next time you log in. Refer to /usr/share/doc/fbpager/README for help with configuring the look and behaviour of the pager.
