Just installed fluxbox have a few questions.

I downloaded and installed chrome but it did not appear in the menu. I read through the forum and saw that toggle menu items would make the google chrome icon show up. It didn't work and and I know have 2 copies of all the menu items. So my main question is how do I get google chrome to appear and how to I get my menu to show one copy of each app.

Fluxbox is one of those things where you edit menus by hand (well... using a text editor)
I don't have it at my fingertips, but there is an "edit menu" type thing in "System Menu" you should find your entry there.
(and remove multiple entries) You'll also see that submenus are actually more text files to edit...
Once you see the pattern, you'll never not see it;)

For me I spend 99.9% of the my time in gnome or kde. I use fluxbox (it is beautiful) on my low end mac mini. Just to save cpu/video to run my xp vm and banshee.

I use menu maker in Arch, but unfortunately I could not find a deb. Here is the home page:

It works great for me, every time you install an app you just need to run:

mmaker -v Fluxbox

Not sure what the proper Mint Fluxbox method is but this command:

fluxbox-generate_menu

Will regenerate a menu.

I just debianized menumaker and it's throwing some Deprecation Warnings when trying to run it. It's likely that Python 2.6.5 isn't backwards compatible with whatever version menumaker was written for. If I get some time I'll try to debug it and see what happens.
