Problems Installing

Hello. I have one of those Compaq Mini netbooks ( 700 model, to be precise ) on which I would have wanted to install Fluxbox 9. Live CD boots up just fine ( live USB rather, used unetbootin for bootable usb). However, installation process doesnt go any futher than Step 3 of installation. When I press Forward, installer wouldnt let me advance and somewhat freezes at step 3. "Somewhat" is because Quit button of the installer still works and I can actually quit the installer.

I havent really tried LM 9 Gnome edition but LM 8 works normally on this netbook. Is there any solution to this? Thanks.
