"SOLVED" User Can Not Login

Hello,
For the last month or so when I installed Fluxbox 9 I have been auto logging in with never a problem.

I rebooted several times today and now I just get a green screen with a box for username, nothing else, it will not except my username only root.

When i go to user and groups my user name is still there, but I can not tick auto login.

What is going on , can anyone please help ?

I managed to logout of root and into home,
I then followed my last actions backwards and removed my conky line (

sleep 9;conky & &

) in fluxbox startup, rebooted, all ok.

Now I just have to find a way to auto start conky without wrecking login.
