How to change the GTK cursor

I was wondering how one changes the GTK cursors in Fluxbox?

You can install lxappearance which handles your Gtk themes, cursors, icons and fonts, in this version found here
https://launchpad.net/~lxde/+archive/ppa/+packages

The one in the Ubuntu 10.4 repos doesn't handle cursors I think.

thanks, I think that was my problem. the lxappearance installed doesn't do cursors. I will try it.

Another option is to use a terminal and type:

Code: Select all

sudo update-alternatives --all

Which will give you a plethora of configuration options including, but not limited to, the cursor theme.

If you don't want to wade through "--all" use "x-cursor-theme". Or, install 'galternatives' from the repo and browse through all the options with a gui. You might be surprised at some of the default settings?!!
