Fluxbox next?

Well, I like the colors and the theme.

However ( This is only my personal opinion ):
- I do not like rounded windows in fluxbox ( it doesn't do it in a nice way since it is a lightweight WM, so I prefer the old school look ).
- I do not like rounded menus. I would not like them even if the edges of the menus would be smooth.

One little suggestion.

I'm fond of the default key bindings of ArchBang distributions. I think those makes the system very usable. And in the default conky config there is a nice documentation about those bindings, I like the whole idea. Every time I use a lightweight distribution I set up similar bindings for myself. I wanted to share it so you can consider to add some of those bindings by default.

sorry for being dumb but I am still trying to work out what it will mean to be a "rolling debian based release".

So what for example would the kernel version right now?

I don't understand the answer to my original question in where I asked which repositories will we use?

There is not yet a Debian Squeeze version, the Lenny might work for you.

So are we going to a rolling release or based on Debian Squeeze?
If it means we need to go back to using Lenny repositories then this is actually really bad news....
but I guess I just misunderstand something... as usual.

@anderigs, the sky is NOT falling . . . whats with the negativity ? . . new FB 1.3 . . . when was the last time you read about a new release of Fluxbox ? . . you scared ? . . .

. . sittin' back relaxed, patiently, smilin', dreamin' of Ikey and Kendall doin' their magic . . . ! . . . I'm already making sure that my Noir style is going to be compatible with 1.3 . . what about you ?

@ anderigs "rolling release" means that your sources.list will point to "testing" and not to a version name. Hence when testing will become stable you will just keep... rolling.

thanks everyone for explaining it - it is just a blind spot in my education .. whilst growing up in Linux I moved from Suse to Ubuntu flavoured distros ... knowing of course debian was there and base for ubuntu ... but never quite understanding how this all worked.
The whole of the debian concept kinda confuses me actually (squeeze comes out with a REALLY old kernel but they have these other branches where we will sit collecting the freshest SW of all - kind of like having a bakery and selling only yesterdays bread to your paying customers but handing out the fresh loaves to the homeless out the back door ).

so I am POSITIVE again.

(also cos I finally got my new conky layout working exactly like I want it )

Will the next Mint Fluxbox be a CD or DVD size ISO ?

The LXDE iso has grown 80 MB in size from 9 to 10, and the last Fluxbox release, 9, was 615 MB. If Fluxbox also grows 80 MB it is 695 MB and just fits on a CD (as long as you're using a 700MB cd and not a 650MB one).

I am always one for "Googling" and finding sites for all kinds of things.

For a light and fast DE/WM -- I'd have to concede to Fluxbox.
I have Anti-X 8.5 (a Mepis-Debian based OS) distro on an old Gateway laptop with only 192 Mb of RAM.
Fluxbox is easy to install and use . . . nothing faster. And very configurable.

I am 'eagerly' awaiting the release of LMD-Fluxbox edition . . . to put on this old laptop.
