I'm worried the lack of Wubi will put some potential users off (well it will let's face it) and understand the reasons why it was dropped. I hope it can also be fixed one day too as so many people fear repartitioning their hard drives "just in case" which is crazy i know.

Anyway enough of that, well done again! Great job

I need to keep 7 because I have several tool with no Linux alternative,

I am running 16 from my pendrive and would be disappointed if I can't install it on my HD.

Thank you very much for all of your efforts. The installation of Linux Mint 16 64-bit Mate Edition from the Live DVD went very well for me. I installed it yesterday and am using it now.

What do you mean ? We can't intsall dual boot ?

You can still dual boot that's fine, sorry for the confusion, you cannot however install Linux Mint "within Windows" like before. This was a sugar coated way of letting fledgling users install the OS but if they didn't like it simply go to "Add/Remove Programs - Linux Mint - Remove". Now they will have to entertain using grub etc which especially terrifies noobs etc.
