Thanks to your feedback and ideas we've managed to put a lot of new things into Linux Mint. Version 2.1 BETA 023 now includes all the changes that were planned for Bea so we're having a code freeze.
LinuxMint-2.1-BETA-023.iso will be made available for download tomorrow, and we encourage all the people who want to get involved and help the project to download it and test it. This development release is the first release candidate for Bea.
That will leave us with about 20 days of testing. During this time we'll fix the bugs you may find and we'll be ready to release the stable final version of Bea on the 20/12/2006.
We'll also start working on an important release: Linux Mint 2.2 codename "Bianca", based on "Bea" with a greenish theme replacing the blue one, and the introduction of 3D effects. But one thing at a time..
Bea RC1 (Beta 023) is out tomorrow, please help us test it and give us your feedback on it.
