I'm unsure of the usefulness of two separate fora doing essentially the same thing & serving the same audience - would it be poor netiquette for me to post a polite suggestion on their mint forum alerting people to the presence of THIS forum? Wouldn't all parties benefit from this? Many of the questions on the other forum may not even need to be re-asked if they're already addressed here...

I wouldnt lose any sleep over it.
I think most folks using Mint can find us here, maybe someone has a reason for preferring linuxquestions. It is a decent forum and the way I see it the more mintiness that is spread over the web the better.
However, if you want to go over to their "fora" and post a link to this "fora" then I dont suppose anyone would mind.
Just leave the flauna out of it!

The larger Forums like LinuxQuestions.org are way too busy for me. I like it here.

Please remember as well that we do have a Linux Mint Group on Facebook. It is not officially run by Linux Mint but it is a nice place to socialize if you're into FaceBook
