LinuxMint is a big big "WOW"!

After a long journey of distro-hopping, i finally found one i can call "Home". this distro(Daryna) so simple (linke ubuntu) but with much more refined artwork which is so soothing to the eyes. since i won't have internet connection until next year, planning to enable my VGA didn't even cross my mind after installation which was always my priority after installation of other distros. the themes and icons...they're just so cool and so beautiful. it plays mp3s and videos right out of the box which is all i need. since it is gnome-based, it goes well with my likings because of its simplicity (btw, i hated gnome before i tried Daryna). it's also well-organized and well-trimmed compared to kubuntu and PCLinuxOS (though they are kde-based). i didn't use the default Daryna panel arrangement coz i prefer the one ubuntu has. it's much more organized. what else? it also detects all the stuffs connected to my PC right away like ubuntu did. it's definitely a "WOW" to me. to the pipz who develop this distro...keep it UP! this is a very good distro!
All distros have their own share of bugs, and Daryna is not exempted. When i ran Amarok and clicked the visualizations, the system blacked out and brought me back to the log-in screen. it's a very minor problem though since it plays mp3 very well. another thing is the "user and groups" function doesn't work really well. if you only have one account which is the default, you'll have no problem. but if you try to add a user and then log out to log-in back as a guest, it won't recognize the account. if you log-in as a default after you have been denied as a guest user, the screen sort of freezes. you will have to restart your pc to put things back to normal...
