Boo,
Thank you for all of your work.
Also, congratulations on keeping your cool and remaining focused despite one person's comments above. Not all of us have such a sense of entitlement to other people's work.
I am very grateful for your time and effort on this release.

Sense of entitlement?

NO, i simply would like a product to work the way it is supposed to work, and when it does not work that way i inform those in charge of said product of the problems so they can be looked at and hopefully repaired! I would like to see tis product work to its full capacity!!! and the only way of doing so is notifying the powers that be of what is wrong, after all this is a beta still and thats how betas work my friend!!!
not once did you see me put this product down!
what you read was my disappointment in the product, and tried to add a little sense of humor to it. apparently you are the only one that has a problem here..

again i will say this....one the problem is solved that i have with the ati drivers i will most definetley go back to using mint! is it hands down one of the finest distros i have seen.
before you "Shoot from the hip" next time understand what is being said 1st !

my apologies ..
i guess it was I who shot from the hip.
referring to my last few posts i "assumed" you meant me.
i was having major Issues with my computer at that moment and used that as a mechanism to blow off steam.
trying to make new friends in the linux community is tough enough these days.
again accept my apologies

You should see the final very soon. Boo has done a great job! The quality of the Mint KDE CE is outstanding!

Bantam, we all get frustrated and blow off steam. I respect the fact that you apologized and am glad things are going better for you now.Clem has stated that the KDE CE will receive more support and there is a KDE section in the Wiki now. Hopefully people will contribute to the Wiki and problems can be resolved easier. Boo's road map for the next KDE CE looks very good and Boo has the skill and ability to achieve these goals.

Me too. Mint is an excellent distro.
I'm sure the GR of KDE 4.0 will be as good as the RC2, using it right now and she is sweet.
She unfortunately will not work on a friends PC (my guess is that his hardware is to old).

Looking forward to the future :-)
Thanks to all who worked on this fine distro.

EDIT !! THIS DOESN'T SEEM TO BE THE FINAL ONE. There are still bugs in this version - so this can't be the final KDE CE !!!

I believe Clem is still preparing for the official announcement as well as allowing time for it to reach all the mirrors. It would be sucky for everyone if just one server was available instead of the load being spread over several of them. Out of respect to Clem I wouldn't post much about it until the official release.
