When online, computer clock is 4 hours ahead

Post by wylbur37 »

(I'm currently using Linux Mint 11 LXDE,
installed as a live distro on a flash-drive).

Whenever I get online, the computer clock changes to a time
that is four hours ahead of what it really is.

Does anyone know how to correct that?

It synchs with an online clock. Is your time zone correctly configured?

Check /etc/timezone or /etc/rc.conf to see if you have the correct time zone configuration?
