It really is a spiffy file manager, although many parts of it are getting kind of crufty. The panel/pinboard was never great, but a resizing windows automatically is cool. So is fast keyboard navigation (/). You can even get it automount usb drives, albeit somewhat kludgily, with pmount. And AppBundles come in handy for stuff you have to build from source and maybe don't want to scatter into zillions of directories, like old games and emulators which seem to be getting banished from most respectable distributions thanks to the ongoing efforts of worthless looter lawyer trolls.
Anyway, rox can still be apt-gotten on Ubuntu/mint. I wonder for how much longer.
